We are recruiting for a leading, premier, iconic winter and outdoor sports brand the Merchandising Manager Women’s Apparel Perimeter: Women’s Apparel Reporting to: Head of Merchandising Soft Goods

Principali attività previste

The Merchandising Manager Women Ready To Wear (WRTW) will be the strategic leader responsible for collection plans, will analyse current performance and will monitor product development through to the sample test.
He/She will work with Regions/Countries and knows the final consumer and all distribution channels: wholesale, retail, Ecom.
He/She will participate in business planning, budgeting and functional discussions and initiatives between the various departments.
He/She Will be responsible for managing the critical path from initial strategy to product realizations, including margin ownership;
He/She Will collaborate closely with the Design and Development teams to follow the development of the product and ensure the best mix of products;
He/She Lead the specific management of the category by providing strategic vision and operational excellence in all aspects including sales, operations, communication, marketing and merchandising;

Reporting to: Head of Merchandising Soft Goods
Place of work: Milan, Italy

Principali attività richieste

The Candidate for the position within the Client‘s company will preferably satisfy the following requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in merchandising, marketing, business administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role in outdoor/sport/lifestyle industry gained through product merchandising.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
Strong Microsoft Office knowledge: Excel and Power Point are a must.
Adobe package knowledge is a plus.
Ability to multitask and work against deadlines.
Precision and attention to detail.
Ability to work autonomously in multi-cultural environments.
Team player with hands-on mentality.
Positive and professional communicator.
Excellent English communication verbal written and verbal. Knowledge of Italian and/or French is a plus.
